Weekend Reads: 3/27

Happy Friday!! It’s hard to believe another week has already flown by! I have a 21-mile training run this weekend, among other things going on. I hope you have something fun planned. Here’s a little of what I’ve been reading this week – enjoy!

On Food:

In a related story, President Obama is taking steps to save us from antibiotic resistance

The Lunch Tray: A NC school district celebrates rolling back child nutrition standards with white flour biscuits and gravy. Sigh.

On Boston:

One Boston Day: to “encourage random acts of kindness and spreading goodwill.”

Silly Boston news. It’s been a long winter.

On Running:

Strength work for runners.

Predicting your Boston finish time

Other:

Meet the runners’ mechanic of the year.
