This week’s training low point: Missing workouts. It hurts my training but it also defeats that mental muscle necessary to believe I can do this.

This week’s training high point: 13.7 miles on a treadmill. I’ve never had any ambition or intention of running this kind of distance inside. Unfortunately, I’ve been forced onto the treadmill for the foreseeable future to avoid injury on the icy, windswept, snowbank-blocked roads I’m running on near Boston.
